State wrestling squad leaves for Cadet National

Orissa Wrestling Association today saw off a 12-member state squad for participation in the National Cadet Wrestling Championship being held at Una in Hamachal Pradesh. The squad included all title winners of the State Cadet Championship, which was conducted at Cuttack last week. Cuttack district emerged champion, while Puri finished runners-up in the state meet. Results of the state meet (all winners): Boys: Rakesh Behera (42kg), Krushna Chandra Behera (46kg), Swadhin Mandal (50kg), Sibun Das (54kg), Tulasiram Majhi (58kg), Sheikh Siraj (63kg). Girls: Ila Mandal (38kg), Ranjita Maharanya (40kg), Sakina Begum (43kg), Bharati Laxmi Mohapatra (46kg), Mamata Behera (49kg), Manisha Behera (63kg).
